Stamer All the Way

Hockey is tough tonight because there are some pretty good match-ups that might lead to some low scoring games.  The key is to find the guys who are going to put the puck in the net.  In nights like this that have very good hockey teams matched up against each other, I like to pick the superstars because these are the games that make them great.

Centers
Two words, one name, Steven Stamkos.  Stamer has to have a big game tonight because the Lightning take on a tough New York Rangers team.  He's worth the big price tonight.  You can also look at at guy like Ryan Johansen.  He'll be the best player on the ice tonight in the Columbus-Florida matchup.  Look for him to possibly score a few.

Wings
I'm going cap friendly tonight with wingers.  I like at hot Nikita Kucherov, with points in seven of his last ten games.  I could see him netting a goal or an assist.  Other players to look out for who come in cheap are Mikkel Boedker who is always looking to score and Corey Perry.  Perry is one of the best wings in the league so he's a bit pricey, be definitely worth it.

Defense
As always, I like to save cap on the defense because even the best defenseman can have an off night.  Lets start out with an offensive machine in Andrei Markov.  He's got only 10 points this season, but has recently come off of his 100th career goal.  Look for him to get some good time on the power-play tonight and maybe even put in number 101. Another defenseman to look at is Anton Stralman.

Goalie
It seems I never good at picking goalies, so I'm taking my roommates advice tonight.  We're going with a struggling Mike Smith.  He's cap friendly, at nearly the minimum, but he has the upside of being very talented.  In a match-up of two of the league worst, look for Arizona to beat up of Edmonton.
