Quarterbacks
With the QB position I always like to go with the match-up and this week is no different. Surely you could go with the big guns like Peyton, Brees, or Stafford but today the Steelers take on a porous Jacksonville Jaguar defense that ranks last in the league with 320.8 yards per game. The Jags also have an 11 to 1 TD/interception ratio. At 7400 on DraftKings, Big Ben is the way to go.
Running Backs
Running backs are always a crucial spot to fill and this week I am going with the theme of Steelers against Jaguars. Le'Veon Bell is a must start at 22 fantasy points per game (FPPG). Other RBs to considers would be Matt Forte against a bad Carolina defense and a struggling Doug Martin versus a bad run stopping New Orleans defense. My value picks today would be Terrance West (assuming he gets the ball) for only 4100 and Justin Forsett.
Wide Receivers
I'm a big believer in value guys, this means I normally don't pick guys like Calvin Johnson or Antonio Brown, but today Antonio Brown is a must start. The Steelers don't have much in way of receivers. Brown is the most consistent week in and week out with 27.3 FPPG. Other receivers to look at today would be Marques Colston at 5400, Emmanuel Sanders 5100 (my go to guy), and Kelvin Benjamin 4800.
*also consider Miles Austin at only 3000, he's a steal!!!
Tight Ends
This week I'm giving two options for tight end. Coming in both for very cheap compared to their high priced counterparts I think that today either Heath Miller or Owen Daniels will be very effective. Daniels is the ex-stud for the Texans who currently calls Baltimore home. Look for him to grab a TD against the Colts today. Heath Miller is in my opinion the most under appreciated tight end in the league. Look for Heath to grab a few today after having a career high in targets last week.
Defense/Special Teams
This week my two picks for defense are going to be the Steelers at only 3500 and the Texans at 3900. The Steelers are not a turnover machine, so look for their points to come in the form of sacks and low points. I'm going on a hunch for the Houston defense against a bad Tony Romo lead offense. Look for at least 2 interceptions out of this defense today. The only thing that could hurt them is the DeMarco Murray.
