Alright, so tonight is a big night in the NHL because there are nine games going on. I is going to be a tough night for picks so lets get down to it.
Centers:
I am always an advocate of fitting as many superstars on your lineup. Tonight is no different. I'm looking at starting Steven Stamkos. He's sitting at 8,500 and has had four points in his last three games. Tampa Bay plays San Jose tonight so it will be a hard outing for the Lightning. These are the kind of games where the best players take over and I am looking for Stamer to have at least 2 points tonight.
Wings:
I'm looking at the hot hand tonight and there is no hotter than Vladimir Tarasenko to light the lamp. He's had one of the hottest sticks in the league with 14 points in his last 10 games. Adding his line-mates Jaden Schwartz and Jori Lehtera wouldn't be a bad idea as well. Also, look for former star and the still dangerous Thomas Vanek to blast one into the net against a (for lack of a better word) terrible Buffalo Sabers team.
Defense:
I always pick cheap for the D. Tonight I'm looking at Alex Goligoski, an ex Penguin with good offensive skill. Also, look at Anton Stralman who has been racking up the points for Tampa Bay.
Goalie:
Tonight pick Kuemper against Buffalo. No questions asked.

Im Back
Okay, so I know its been a few weeks and my professor is not going to be happy but I will make up for lost time. I am somewhat new to DraftKings and I spent all summer learning about the baseball part of it. I figured learning hockey, baseball, and football would not be hard...and I was wrong. It took me a while to get confident in my picks to be able to give others advice. Now I'm at the point where I am comforatble with telling people who to put their money on. So from now on I will be blogging several times a week because, well I'm probably gonna lose points anyways. I just did not want to do any disservice to a person using my advice.
